Football Frenzy!!

I know its been a long while since i have posted anything!! This shows one of my characters- laziness...

Anyway, lets not delve on that further.. At the end of the football world cup and Wimbledon, I have come to realise something.. I find football, most interesting and stimulating than any match of cricket i have ever watched.. For starters, it gets over in one and a half hours which is very quick a game compared to cricket.. and secondly since its a game with a small period of time, I am always at the edge of my seat for any goals or even penalties as it gives more tenseness to the game.. I am not an expert of the game , just a newly made fan.. but i guess its a game which needs team cooperation to the maximum level..I found it to be a rough game.. and players are accident prone to a very great extent..

During the world cup, I didnt exactly weep for any country's loss, but I have a feeling France could have won this time if Zidane hadnt done the bull act.. nevertheless, it was an interesting game to watch........ One of the outputs of watching the world cup is that I have acquired an instant crush on Cristiano Ronaldo of Portugal, who is good with the ball and has some very clever tricks up his socks...(winks n flying kisses to him!!)

Before you drown in my drool, let me write what I think is the condition of football in
India.. Though, thereis a good amount of audience coming up for football, its just for international football.. I wudnt blame them as there is no national football that is popularised or even telecasted.. There are lots of talented players in Bengal and Kerala and TN.. but, not much people know Sabir Pasha of Tamil nadu or I.M.Vijayan of Kerala who are grt players of the game.. I think football shud be popularised a bit more by giving more media coverages in Channels other than DD sports, which v few peopl watch(honestly!!).. So, wat say you??

P.S. whatever i have written is just my opinion.. so, no offence to any other sport lovers..

IS BULBING A SIN!?

"hey bulb goddess!!" this is how majority of my friends address me even as I try to comprehend some of the alien concepts they speak while in my company. I might be slow in understanding such stuff, but what matters in the end is I understand and enjoy whatever is said or being done.. Not everyone is of the same wavelength.. God has made sure there is variety in the way his creations think.. hence, it is not the mistake of those unfortunate ones who are not quick enough to grasp certain points.. people forget that they might be real quick in certain other topics of discussion.. and I dont understand the usage of bulb.. generally bulb is symbolised with being bright or getting an idea.. how can being a bulb mean the total opposite!? such kind of confusion might be the reason of me being called one. Hmmm.. as I told before, it is not the mistake of that particular person.. how is he/she to know what exactly their companions are talking about in the present world of A- jokes and double meaning entrendes.. for people who keep calling others the same.. they must remember that they too will "bulb" some day or the other.. There is no one in this world who is a know all.. God has made sure of that again.. Hence, I conclude by saying bulbing is not a sin.. I guess enough of my ramblings.. comments are welcome on this topic..

Am I really here!!??

yay!! i have created a blogspot at last!!

When my friend asked me to read his Blog for the first time, I didnt even know what it was!! Later, I realised that its a place where you can pour out your feelings and even damn anyone you want!! That seemed an interesting idea to me.. (i do have a long list you see..)

Though, I did n joy reading many of friends' blogs, I never imagined myself as a blogger.. Then, I learnt from another of my friend that it is not a crime in e blog if one does not update their blogs often.. proof being his blogs.. I was overjoyed at hearing this...(i am extremely lazy to say the least..) This revelation made me think why not!! After all, I am jobless for most of the time.. (though i have an exam tomo)..
It takes a lot of courage to share your thoughts with others and not be bothered about the scorns that may come your way.. Though I am a journalism student, writing an objective report is a lot different from being subjective throughout.. I am glad that I finally took the plunge and am still wondering "AM I REALLY HERE!!??"
